First Annual MerCon & World Mermaid Awards
August 12 & 13, 2011
The Mirage Resort and Casino, Las Vegas

Welcome to MerCon 2011, the first annual two-day event celebrating all the mermaid realm has to offer. Brought to you by Sita Lange and her Maui Mermaids, the event will also host live mermaid performances by guest stars Hannah Mermaid, Marina MeduSirena - The Fire Eating Mermaid and others. The grand finale will be the first World Mermaid Awards, saluting the best aquatic performers, personalities, creators and legends in the business.

I've contacted their main contact to see if there is anything that we might be able to do to help sponsor the conference as a group, so that we can maybe donate items to their welcome baskets or a table or something so that we can help promote the conference as well as help promote this site and all the artists gathered here!

Please let me know if that would interest you - alone we can do a little, but together - we can do a lot! Smile

I know! Oh and I finally got an address for folks that might want to donate things for the gift baskets and raffles .... all we ask is that you let us know that you are doing that and that you are putting on the mermaidartists.com url along with your contact info, and you will be featured in the banner rotations and on the front page as a contributing sponsor until January 2012!

I wonder how the Mercon went.I just couldn't make it though Al said to go for it,but I couldn't do it by myself,the setting up to sell part any way. I should have checked it out though.
Hopefully next year ,now that we have time to plan!!!!

Yes I am hoping that next year we will be able to do a lot more!

You can check our stats though - I did see an increase in traffic!

That would be soo cool. We would have a variety of mermaid art for sale. This gives us time to prepare and have a nice selection. Any way to find out if they're having another one?
