Another mermaid. This one is a child (around five years old in appearance) with a critter friend.

Only two pics to start, but it'll give you an idea of what's in my head. She'll be sitting where she is on the branch (which is far from finished) and her little critter friend will be at the other end. She also has collected a name.....Rosalyn. It seemed to fit her features, plus she'll have a rose colored tail and fins. I believe she'll have strawberry blonde hair, maybe with rose colored highlights. Not certain on that yet! I'm thinking a weddell seal pup would be a great friend for her, they're fur is kinda of a pinkish beige when their pups.

I'm going to try finishing this up by Sunday, but my best friend's wedding is on Friday and hopefully my hubby and I will be celebrating our anniversary this weekend. So we'll see how much time I have to sculpt between today and tomorrow! Wish me luck.

Thank you. I really like her too, she's a cutie pie! I'm definitely leaning towards this style hair, especially since I've got another opinion that favors it too!

Oh Faerydae, thanks so much. That's really sweet to say! She's coming along well now, well her little friend is. He'll (the little friend) be finished up this morning and then I'll post his pics. I'm going to try putting a few hours into Rosalyn today too!

Here are the newest photos of Rosalyn and her little friend. He's a weddell seal pup named William. He has one layer of genesis, but I'll likely add another layer of beige to even out the first layer and add texture. So that's how far I've gotten this morning. I only have a few "sculpting time" hours today, as I need to go to the spa and salon today to get ready for my buddy's wedding tomorrow. Here's the pics anyway (dark cloudy day, so dark cloudy pics...sorry).

Hello everyone. I'm back from my weekend away and I've spent a good majority of today working on Rosalyn. She's on her final series bake now and I'll take a few pics before I finish her and William's paint. I'll also work on the base a little more tonight and finish by tomorrow afternoon...hopefully!

Alrighty. I got a little too into it when finishing her and William's painting, and just went ahead and finished them up. So here they are all finished and they'll be on ebay this evening. I'll post the link later. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
